General Thoughts
Just a quick one:
Seeing red on the screen is never fun and always uncomfortable. Volatility is part of the game and thus drawdown management is so important. Personally, I minimise drawdowns by avoiding margin/options/any leverage, having exposure to several factors plus building a decent cash position into strength serves as a hedge. (Currently 19%). That being said I am always still reviewing the holdings to see what makes sense to hold, what to add to and what to reduce further.
